For over 50 years, Lincoln Foundry has been more than just a foundry. We're a family legacy built on three generations of blue-collar American strength. Honoring the traditions passed down to us means training new foundrymen in the essential skills that carry this vital trade forward. This type of work isn't dying out or impossible to do at affordable prices and with turnaround times that meet American customers' needs.Foundries continue to be an integral part of the economic and industrial backbone. The precision castings we make provide the foundation that allows American manufacturers to compete and win on the international stage. Durability, integrity, and honest hard work aren't just principles; they're what we build into every part. Our history isn't just in our name. It's in the reliability of every part that leaves our foundry.

A Legacy of Metal Pouring in Erie, PA

Lincoln Foundry is a non-ferrous sand-casting foundry. We’re located on Industrial Drive in Erie, Pennsylvania, just minutes from I-90 and US-20. Our centralized location connects us to manufacturing partners from Cleveland, OH, to Buffalo, NY, and across the regional corridor. Erie's long metalworking heritage provides the skilled workforce and infrastructure that specialty foundries require. This city understands what it takes to produce quality castings, and we're proud to be part of that tradition.

Poured with Pride. Poured with Precision.

Casting metal is not clean work. It's tough, hot, and demanding. In an age that looks for shortcuts, we stick with the long, hard road. It's the only one that leads to true quality. This commitment has been our founding principle: do the essential, demanding work that builds industries. That is more than a job; it's the promise of a hard-earned future that expands far beyond the reach of our facility. At Lincoln Foundry, our craftsmanship is measured in sweat, precision, and pride for the work we do.

Why We Specialize in Non-Ferrous Casting

As a non-ferrous sand-casting foundry, we do not work with alloys that contain iron. Instead, we pour copper, bronze, aluminum, and stainless steel and have built our entire operation around mastering these materials for diverse end applications.General foundries cast iron and treat non-ferrous metals as a sideline. We don't. Non-ferrous casting requires different metallurgical expertise: tighter temperature control, specialized gating systems, and precise alloy chemistry. Get it wrong, and you're scrapping parts—or worse, shipping castings that fail in the field and risk damaging your reputation.

Non-ferrous alloys provide a wide range of benefits, including:
  • Corrosion resistance: parts that survive saltwater, chemicals, and moisture without pitting or failing
  • Electrical conductivity: components that actually conduct power and dissipate heat
  • Lightweight strength: aerospace-grade performance without the weight penalty
  • Non-magnetic properties: no interference with sensitive electronics or instrumentation

Iron is a poor choice when material failure means downtime, contamination, or a safety risk. You need alloys that perform and a foundry that knows how to cast them right the first time.

Where Craftsmanship Meets Metallurgy

Pride and grit drive us, but expertise keeps us sharp. At Lincoln Foundry, our hands-on approach is backed by deep metallurgical knowledge. It begins with the precise art of pattern making, the critical first step in creating a mold worthy of molten metal. Our team then specializes in non-ferrous sand-casting, pouring those same alloys to create critical components for demanding industries.

We produce a wide range of parts, including:
  • Gears, valves, and pressure vessels for industrial machinery
  • Lead-free bronze fittings for potable water systems
  • Corrosion-resistant castings for marine hardware
  • High-strength, lightweight parts for aerospace and defense

Iron is a poor choice when material failure means downtime, contamination, or a safety risk. You need alloys that perform and a foundry that knows how to cast them right the first time.

Quality You Can Measure

We believe that quality isn’t just a department in a building, it's a discipline built into every stage of our process. It requires commitment from every employee involved, from building the original tooling/pattern equipment to pouring and finishing the parts. Anyone who has worked with us in the past has tangible proof of our commitment to honest work in the form of premium-quality castings. Our philosophy is simple: if a casting isn’t sound, it doesn’t ship. It's a standard our family has always stood by and will not compromise.In-house testing provides the scientific certainty to back up our promise. We analyze the precise alloy makeup and test the physical durability of our work. This ensures every component is built on a sound metallurgical foundation.

From Molten Metal to Precision Casting

Sand-casting is a time-tested technique we've honed over five decades and continue to refine to meet new customer specifications, alloy demands, or part designs. Lincoln Foundry specializes in components from 0.01 to 100 pounds and up to three feet long. Every casting is cleaned with grinding/shot blasting and made ready for the next step. We deliver a raw or rough casting that's dimensionally accurate and metallurgically sound, ready for finishing. This is the heart of foundry work: creating the durable backbone, so you can build what's next.
